Background
      Urat Jieyuan WTP originally used Carrousel 2000 oxidation ditch with total scale of 10,000 m3/d, the effluent implemented I-B standard. In 2013, to solve the problems that the effluent COD and ammonia nitrogen exceeded standard in winter, the trans for mation in low-temperature is carried out. The effluent implements I-A standard.
    Implementation Idea
      After repeatedly expert demonstration, the IFAS was finally adopted as the core process of low-temperature transformation in Urat Jiyuan WTP.
    Highlight
      A classic case of stable effluent standard in low temperature operation of MBBR process. Since then, MBBR technology has been widely used in Inner Mongolia.
