Background

Qilu Petrochemical Wastewater Treatment Plant has a designed treatment scale of 14,400m3/d. The original biochemical treatment process uses biological contact oxidation method. The main influent components are industrialwastewater and some domestic wastewater discharged from various chemical plants in the industrial park. The pollutants in the influent of the STP are difficult to be degraded by organism.

Implementing Idea

The contact oxidation tank was reconstructed into AO+MBBR process with micro hybird.

Project highlight

Typical case of MBBR process applied to hard-biodegradable petrochemical wastewater, MBBR strengthens the removal of organic matter and ammonia nitrogen in wastewater, and the effluent reaches the standard steadily.
