Background

Chongfu STP originally used SBR process with a total scale of 30,000 m3/d, facing difficulties consist of expanding the scale to 60,000m3/d,high content of refractory organic matter, large proportion of printing and dyeing, tannery wastewater, strong water quality impact , and shark fluctuation. The effluent need to implement I-A standard in this retrofitting.

Implementation Idea

secondary sedimentation tank is built and IFAS is implemented in A2/O to replace the original SBR process, which improve nitrification and denitrification without increasing the tank capacity.
